Biography

Mary was born on 28 September 1844 in Indiana. She was the daughter of Harrison Allen and Anny (White) Miles.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]

In 1850 Mary (age about 5) was living in Hamilton, Sullivan, Indiana.[12]

In 1860 Mary (age about 15) was living in Hamilton, Sullivan, Indiana.[13]

When Mary was 17, she married Samuel Clark McCracken on October 30, 1861 in Daviess. The couple had one child: Sarah Jane McCracken.[14][15]

In the 1870 census Mary (age 25) was living in Barr, Daviess, Indiana, United States. Age: 26Census Post Office: Washington.[16]

In the 1880 census Mary (age 35) was living in Barr, Daviess, Indiana, United States. Age: 35. Marital Status: Married; Relation to Head of House: Wife.[17]
