Biography
Philip Allen was born on 1 May 1, 1841, in Ohio to David and Pauline Panina (Hill) Allen. He served in Company D of the 7th West Virginia Infantry during the Civil War. He was married to a woman named Mary. He died on June 1, 1917, at the age of 76, and was buried in the Orchard Mesa Cemetery in Grand Junction, Colorado.
