The WIll of Col Samuel Allen was proved 26 Sep, 1774 however the information for the Samuel Allen of this profile indicates he died 15 Feb, 1779. Is the documented date wrong or is the will referring to a different Samuel Allen. The Will also states that Samuel Allen was of Cumberland Co., Parish of Littleton, Colony of Virginia. The bio for this Samuel Allen indicates he died at Goochland, Virginia. These discrepancies make it appear there are two different individuals ?
