Biography

Rebecca was born about 1700 in the Colony of Virginia or 17 Jun 1709 at Medfield, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay Colony. She died about 1775 in Bute County, North Carolina Colony or in Henrico County, Virginia.

Rebecca's alleged husband Peter Elmore was born in 1700 in New Kent County, Virginia Colony and was christened on 9 June 1700 in St. Peter's Parish, New Kent County, Virginia Colony.[1] He is the son of Peter Elmore and Rebecca Harris. He passed away in November 1738 in New Kent County, Virginia Colony.

Research Notes

"Peter Elmore, born about 9 June 1700, married Rebecca (last name unknown) before 1724.”[2]

The only other source for the name of Peter Elmore's spouse appears to be the Gedcom uploaded here and on Family Search by Linda. Searches on FamilySearch and Ancestry turn up no results for a name for the spouse as shown on this profile. Peter's mother is Rebecca and his son John apparently married Mary Allen.[3] Could this be the source for the name "Rebecca Allen" as shown here? More research is needed.

Allen-29428 and Allen-51747 appear to represent the same person because: Both of these are the same person. RA-51747 will add sons, John and Peter.
