Biography

Esther Allen was born 3 May 1811 at Romulus, Seneca, New York the daughter of Silas Allen and Esther Gardner. ^[1]

Esther and Anthony Yerkes married 29 November 1833 in Washtenaw County, Michigan.^[2]

They lived in Vergennes, Kent, Michigan where Anthony and Esther appeared on the 1850 through 1880 United States Censuses.^[3][4][5][6] Anthony died in 1886.^[1]

Esther then appeared on the 1894 Michigan Census at Vergennes.^[7]

Esther died 25 February 1898 in Vergennes Township, Kent, Michigan and is buried in the Krum Cemetery, Vergennes, Kent, Michigan. ^[8]
