Robert Cecil Allen was born on 18th January 1867 in the Castle Hill district of New South Wales, Australia. He was the third son of James Allen and Sarah Bellamy.[1]
He married Christina Cusbert on 24th May 1888 in Parramatta, New South Wales.[2] Christina would become Robert's Aunt Mary Allen's step-daughter three months later. Robert's brother, Brose, would marry Christina's sister in 1891.
Robert passed away on 27th January 1953 at his home, 200 Pennant Hills Road, Thornleigh, New South Wales,[3] and was buried in the Wesleyan Chapel churchyard, Pennant Hills (now Cherrybrook Uniting Church).[4]
