Harriet May Allen (married name Brown) was born in 1886 in Portland, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Mary Ann Sarah Allen and John Allen.^[1][2]

She married Robert Stanley Brown in 1910 in Victoria.^[3] Their children were:^[4]
