James Allen was a convict transported to New South Wales for life. He was sentenced in London. James travelled to New South Wales on board the Marquis of Hastings.
In 1828 James was recorded as aged 24 and working as a servant in the household of Jesse Hudson, a former convict and shoemaker, in Parramatta.
