Biography
Born in Scotland and emigrated to Canada in 1820. Resident of Drummond (Reid book) and spouse of Eleanor Davis, daughter of UEL Richard Davis.
They 10 ten children -- 3 sons and 7 daughters:

- Ann D. Allan (1844-1911)
William Allan is buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Perth, as is his wife Eleanor.
