Joseph and Lulu Belle were listed on their daughter Frances Marie Byrd's death certificate in 1974.[5]
Joseph died in Cameron, Texas, on 16 November 1929. Lulu died at age 79 on 19 October 1954. She is buried in Mont Meta Memorial Park, San Benito, Texas.[6][7]
