In a book published 2016, "Under the Lake- Historical Images, Stories, and Genealogy of Life Along the Caney Fork River Before the Center Hill Lake-In DeKalb, Putnam, Warren, and White Counties of Tennessee", page 105. Hezekiah Allen Sr. came from NC to TN (DeKalb Co.) and had several children. His son Alfred S. Allen 1811-1886 had these children listed on page 105: Martha Ann 1837-1885, Nancy Jane 1840-1920, Thomas C 1842-1925, William J. "Bill" 1844-1878, Hugh Henderson 1847-1915, Elijah Neal 1851-1918, Richard Pop "Dick" 1853-1924, Rebecca Frances 1856-1924, & Ewing Brown Allen 1860-1891.

Where do you find "Pop" in Richard "Dick" Allen's name ? Also, Where did you find the connection of his father and mother being... Alfred Allen and Anna Womack ???? Why I ask is because he is a close relative in my tree. Need some clarification for my tree THANKS
