Louisa was the daughter of William Allen and Mary (Bent). She was baptised at St. Luke, Finsbury, on 7 March 1824. Her father was a poulterer of Twisters Alley (according to the baptism record).
She was listed on the Census records of 1861 and 1871 (in Shoreditch) as "Wife".
By 1881 she was still married, but was recorded as a laundress and inmate of Hackney Union Workhouse.
By 1891 she was still at the workhouse but was listed as widowed and a retired rope maker - and "pauper".
Her death was recorded for the period of January-March 1902, aged "80", in Hackney. (Probably died in the workhouse.)
