Richard Allen was born on 27 Dec 1769 in Beverly, Essex, Massachusetts Bay. His parents were Nehemiah Allen (1741 - 1802) and Elizabeth (Butman) Allen (1744 - 1815).
Richard married Sarah Wells (<1769 - 1843) on 9 Jul 1794 in Blue Hill, Hancock, Maine, United States.
Richard died on 10 Jan 1848 in Brooklin, Hancock, Maine aged 78.
