Lena Geneva Allen was born on May 16, 1888, [1] in York, New Brunswick, Canada.Elbridge Allen and Annie Estey, her father, Elbridge, was 30, and her mother, Anstice, was 33. She married David G. Hatheway on January 5, 1905, [2] in New Brunswick, Canada. They had four children in 19 years. She died on November 12, 1946, [3]in Aroostook, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 58, and was buried in Perth, New Brunswick, Canada.[4]
