Frances was born on 15 Apr 1845 in Springfield, Massachusetts.
There are two seemingly conflicting entries in DVW's notes:
1. Frances was b. 15 Apr 1845 in "Cabotville" in an old Chicopee House Hotel, not the American Legion home, someone said.
2. She was b. in Springfield, now Chicopee.
On 11 July, 1867, she m. Simeon Porter Keyes. He was listedas a farmer; both were aged 20, both of Conway, and both married for the first time by Rev. J.J. Townsend, of the Baptist Church in Conway.
They resided in Pennsylvania, Ohio and South Deerfield, Massachusetts.

Burns, Robert E., son, age 15, b. MA, father b. NY, mother b. MA, attended school.
Keyes, Frances, M-I-L, age 75, b. MA as were father and mother.
On 15 Apr 1925, DVW wrote in her diary that grandma "was 80."
Frances died at the home of her daughter, Grace Keyes Burns, on Cottage St. in Medfield, Massachusetts, on November 11, 1926, She passed away after a short illness. The funeral services were at the home on Saturday at 2:00. On Sunday, she was moved to Conway and buried in "the famiiy lot" there on Sunday the 14th.
