Biography

Benjamin was born June 1, 1815 in Botsford Parish, Westmorland County, New Brunswick. He was the son of Liffey Allen and Hannah Raworth.

He married Jane M. Anderson on January 19, 1847 in Glenelg Parish in Northumberland County. She was a daughter of John George Anderson and Catherine (UNKNOWN) Anderson from Botsford.[1]

They lived in Botsford Parish where they were farmers and raised a family. In earlier census, they are listed as Presbyterian but later (1901) are listed as member sof the Church of God.

Benjamin and his wife Jane were still living in 1901.
