Jeremiah R[ichards? After his mother's maiden name?] Allen was born on 9 April 1804 in Roxbury, Norfolk, Mass.;[1][2]
He was a farmer in the Warwick, Massachusetts area.
He married 7 Apr 1832 in Warwick,[3] Emily N[elson?] Jones, b 13 Feb 1810, daughter of Jonathan Jones and Deborah Nelson both of Milford, MA;[4] she d. 30 May 1845 Warwick.
Emily only lived until she was 35.
In 1850, Jeremiah was with his children in Warwick; in 1860 in Warwick with son Cedric and daughter Martha and son-in-law William Sanger. In 1870, in Sterling, MA making jam and living with the Lawrence family, no known relation. In 1880, he was back in Athol, MA living with son-in-law and daughter (William & Martha Sanger).

No children.
Calvin / Cedric[k] D. Allen, b Jan 1838;[7] m 27 May 1868 in Orange, MA Mary Abby Hstings, b 19 Jun 1844 in Warwick, MA, dau of Caleb W. Hastings and Abby W. ____; 1850: "Calvin" (subsequently "Cedrick"); 1860: with father in Warwick; 1870: with wife Mary in Medway, Norfolk, MA, farming; 1880: in Natick Middleseex MA with Mary A, working on farm of Henry F Guild; 1900: with brother-in-law and sister in Athold, MA; 1910: with wife in Warwick.[8] One surviving child:
Lena Mayybell Allen, b 30 Apr 1872 Warwick, MA;[9] m 13 Feb 1890 Rockland, MA Winslow Collamore, b Jun 1845 (!) Pembroke, MA, son of William Collamore and Lucinda ____.[10] 1900: living in Hanson, Plymouth, m8 years (but wife not with him, dau living with relatives in Warwick), candy peddler; 1910: can't find; 1920: can't find. Hellen Myrtle Collamore, b 10 Apr 1891 or 1892 Hanover, Plymouth, MA;[11] m in Warwick, MA 16 Jan 1910 as his second wife James Herbert Baird, b abt 1845 Ashland, MA, son of James S? Baird and Susanna B. Hibbard; 1900: she's in Warwick with great-grandmother Abby Hastings and grandmother Mary A Allen (wife of Cedric); 1910: with husband in Warwick; 1920: he's in Warwick with son Herberg no sign of Hellen; 1930: he is still alive, divorced and boarding with his son in Orange, MA; a Murtle Collamore, divorced, right age, housekeeper to a divorced Edgard Aldrich, 53, living with a board (son?) Carroll Collamore, b abt 1913/4 in Dunstable, MA; this same threesome is living together in Acton in 1920. Children:
Herbert W. Baird, b abt 1912, probably in Warwick, MA; no birth record found; not in SSDI
possibly Carroll Collamore / Baird, b abt 1914 MA; birth record not found under either name.
Jeremiah R Allen passed away 2 Mar 1885 in Athol, Mass., of pneumonia;[12][13]
