Jane married Peter Bulkeley on 12 April 1613 in Goldington, Bedfordshire, England.[3][4]
Magnalia Christi Americana, a source cited by many about the life of Jane's husband, Peter Bulkeley, states that by Jane "he had nine sons and two daughters."[3] However, both Richardson and Anderson name only nine children in total,[2] all who were baptized at Odell, Bedfordshire:[3]
Mary,[2] baptized 24 August 1615, buried 13 January 1615/6;[3]
Thomas,[2] baptized 13 April 1617, married by 1640 Sarah Jones;[3]
Nathaniel,[2] baptized 29 November 1618, buried 11 February 1628/9;[3]
[Rev.] John,[2] baptized 6 February 1619/20, married 1st in 1650/1 to Anne Try, married 2nd in 1667 to Elizabeth (___) Oakes, married 3rd to Avis ___;[3]
Mary,[2] baptized 1 November 1621, no further record;[3]
Joseph,[2] baptized 4 May 1623, living in 1658, died without issue;[3]
Daniel, [2] baptized 28 August 1625; died before 1659;[3]
Jabez,[2] baptized 24 December 1626, buried 2 Dec 1629.[3]
Jane was buried on 8 December 1626 at Odell, Bedfordshire, England.[2][3]
Reverend Peter Bulkeley was an early Puritan preacher who left England in 1635 on the Susan and Ellen for greater religious freedom in the Colony of Massachusetts.[2] He was among the first settlers at Concord, Massachusetts and co-organized the first church there.[5][6]
Research Notes
Descendant of Royalty
Jane (Allen) Bulkeley is descended from the kings of Scotland through Malcolm III (Ceannmore), King of Scots, and his descendants, including his great-grandson King William the Lion, whose illegitimate daughter Isabel of Scotland married Magna Carta surety baron Robert de Ros.[7]

Magna Carta Project
Jane Allen, first wife of Gateway AncestorPeter Bulkeley, is not listed in the Colonial Immigrants index in Richardson's 2011 edition of Magna Carta Ancestry, (vol. I, pages xxiii-xxix), but this was apparently an oversight, as her ancestry is documented in both Magna Carta Ancestry and Royal Ancestry, and she is listed in the latter's index of Colonial Immigrants. Richardson does not note where she died, but he includes other non-immigrating spouses in the Magna Carta Ancestry index as Gateway Ancestors.

Other Barons in Relationship Finder Not Proven
Acknowledgement to Jeryl V for the information quoted below:
"Although Magna Carta surety barons Mowbray, Richard and Gilbert de Clare, John de Lacy and Saher de Quincy are currently present in the tree view [relationship finder] of Jane's ancestry, the only proven surety baron in her pedigree who is documented with evidence is Robert de Roos. Richardson does not show a connection for these other barons.
"All FIVE of the Sureties, William Mowbray, Richard and Gilbert de Clare, John de Lacy, and Saher de Quincy rely on the proven paternity of Christiana de Mowbray in order to be verified Ancestors of Jane Allen. Such proof is insufficient, thus far.
"Richardson had associated some of those Ancestors with Jane Allen in earlier editions of his Ancestry Series. But, the latest thinking is that there are too many "John Mowbrays" and not enough distinction to know whether the documentation connecting them to Christiana Mowbray is definitive for the relationship of brother/uncle/father. Richardson has since revised the Jane ALLEN Ancestry."
"The ONLY Magna Carta Surety listed as an Ancestor for Jane Allen in any of Richardson's books is Robert De Ros, (which follows the lineage for Edward BULKELEY, showing him as a true "Gateway Ancestor," in his own right, independent of the Royal lineage of his father, Rev. Peter Bulkeley, Sr."
I added links to the sources for the Parish Records. There may be more from these records that should be added to this profile, or to other family members.
The original profile for William showed a marriage to Unknown in 1619, (a date that overlaps her marriage to Bulkeley by six years). That date was changed, and her name added, to Caudle's profile last year, but still without any evidence, so the connection has been removed.
Douglas Richardson found no such marriage, and she is listed with one husband, Rev. Peter Bulkeley, Sr., In his Royal Ancestry - A Study in Colonial and Medieval Families, Vol I, page 111, and in Vol II, page 10.
Jane (Allen) Bulkeley is not listed among the names of immigrants in Magna Carta Ancestry -- she died was buried in England in 1626. Her husband Rev Peter Bulkeley, Sr. immigrated in 1635 with their children, and his second wife.
Jane (Allen) Bulkeley is found at the front of Vol I of Royal Ancestry, among the List of Colonial Immigrants, and has her own separate entry under "Allen" in Volume I of R.A.
Jane has Royal Ancestry, so her immigrant children do also, and they have Magna Carta Ancestry through her husband Rev. Peter Bulkeley. Her children also have Magna Carta ancestry through Jane Allen, going to surety baron Robert de Roos.
Agreed, it is an error to include her name in the Gateway Ancestors list -- as we have used it for immigrant Magna Carta Ancestors only. (The term does also have a wider usage for immigrant descendants of European Royalty, so this might be where the confusion entered the picture.)
She doesn't fit the Gateway designation, but she is a Magna Carta surety descendant, so on her profile, I should put a note under 'Research' that she is descended from surety Robert de Roos.
Jane Allen (daughter of Thomas Allen and Mary Fairclough) was born Jan 17, 1586/87 in Odell, Bedfordshire, England and died Dec 08, 1626 in Odell, Bedfordshire, England. She married Rowland Bulkeley, son of William Bulkeley and Mary Colton Cotton.
Children of Jane Allen and Rowland Bulkeley are:
+William Bulkeley, b. 1618, West Ham, Essex, England, d. 1713, Isle Wight, Virginia,

Hope that covers it:)
Not sure why she's a Gateway if she died in England before her husband immigrated to America. OK to remove her from the category?
"Died before 8 Dec 1626 in Odell, Bedfordshire, England."
The children of [Rev.] Peter Bulkeley and Jane are: seven sons: [Rev.] Edward, Thomas, Nathaniel, [Rev.] John, Joseph, Daniel, and Jabez.
Their two daughters were both named Mary.
William Bulkeley-79 and William Bulkeley-257 look like fictitious persons: the only sources they list are blank Ancestry trees.
In Royal Ancestors Vol II page 10 pub. 2013 Richardsons' data is the same as in 2011.
Both Williams need to be merged away.
