Jonathan Allen was born in Manchester, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, 4 September 1684.^[1] He was baptized in Salem, Essex County, October 1684.^[2] His parents were Samuel Allen and Sarah Unknown.

He died in Manchester, 4 December 1768, aged 87 or 88 years.^[3]

He married Mary Pierce in 1709.^[4] Children,
