30 Dec 1818 - “Receved (sic) of Fanny Allen gardean (sic) for George Allens decsd. orphans one hundred dollars in part of Polley Ervinses distributive legecy (sic) who is one of the heirs of the deceased Allen this the 30th of December 1818 - $100. I say receved by me. s/ David Evins (sic)”

4 Mar 1820 - “Paid in part of _?_ to Danl. (sic) B. Allen. $75.50” The receipt for this says, “Recd. 4th March 1820 from Fanney Allen my mother the sum of seventy five dollars & fifty cents in part of my part of the estate of my father George Allen decd. s/ Nathaniel B. (his mark) Allen.”
