Biography

Elsie was born on 19th May 1911 in Gateshead, to a mother whose maiden name was Tyzack [2].

She married Matthew Purvis in 1936 and they had one child, Sheila, in 1937.

She died in the first quarter of 1999 in Newcastle upon Tyne ^[1].
