Biography

Ann was born in 1840 at Bridlington Quay, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom. She is the daughter of Allerston-14 and Cranswick-38. She stayed behind in Bridlington with grandfather Francis and grandmother Ann after her parents and siblings emigrated to South Africa in June 1849 on the ship "'Henry Tanner"'. She emigrated in 1861 to South Africa with husband Richard & son William, on the Leila. She passed away in 1887 at Temple Street, Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa as a result of Euterie Fever.
