Biography

Isaac Allerton, son of Isaac Allerton and Sylvia Winchell was born on September 5, 1828 in New York City. [1]

He married Eliza McDaniel, of Chenango County, New York on April 4, 1852. She was the daughter of Hiram McDaniel. [1]

He was a carpenter and joiner, and an invented of several mechanical improvements. [1]

They resided at Deer Park, Orange and afterward at Port Crane, Broome, New York before removing to Killmaster, Alcona, Michigan. [1]

Eliza died on April 26, 1898 at Port Crane. [2]

Isaac died on July 30, 1913 at Port Crane, Broome, New York. [3] [4]

He is buried with his wife Eliza at Port Crane Cemetery, Port Crane, New York. Their inscription reads:Isaac - 1828 Co. M 50 xxx Eliza his wife 1831-1898 [5]
