Biography

Philip was born in 1874[1] in Lowestoft, Suffolk, England. The Allerton family lived at 24 Denmark Road, Lowestoft, in 1881, when Samuel's boat-building business employed 17 men, 3 labourers and 1 boy.[2] By 1891, the household had moved to 48 Denmark Road.[3]

Philip married Agnes Brown PEDER between 1891 and 1901. By the time of the 1901 census they lived at 94 College Road, Eaton, Norwich, Norfolk, England, and Philip worked as a solicitor's clerk.[4] Agnes died in 1906.[5]

Philip married Lucy Mary Rosetta GUNN in Norwich in 1909.[6] They lived at 72 Dover Street, Norwich, in 1911; Philip was a law clerk.[7]

He died in 1944 in Norwich.[8]
