Edmund Allerton was born in Norfolk, England.

Edmund Allerton was baptised on 7 July 1707 in Toft Monks, Norfolk, England. He was the son of Bartholomew Allerton and Elizabeth Willoughby.^[1][2]

Edmund married Elizabeth Charles on 10 April 1737 in Worlingham, Suffolk.^[3] They had 12 children in 22 years who were baptised in Worlingham:
