- It is with deep regret that we have to record the death of Mrs. W. B. Bruce, which took place at Araluen on Wednesday afternoon last. The deceased lady had a severe illness about twelve months ago, from which she never entirely recovered. Last week she contracted a heavy cold, which developed into pneumonia, which caused her death. The deceased lady, who was very highly esteemed by everyone with whom she came in contact, was the eldest daughter of the late Dr. Alley, and a sister of Messrs. T. U. Alley, A. U. Alley, G. U. Alley, and of Mrs. J. Hyland, of Bettowynd.
