The death of George Underwood (Peter) Alley, Sassafras, which occurred at Nowra on March 17, came as a great shock to his relatives and many friends. Mr. Alley, who was 30 years of age was a son of Mr, G. U. Alley and the late Mrs. Alley, Sassafras, had been in hospital only six days. He had been employed at Messrs. McGuire's sawmill for the past two years, He was a splendid type of young man, honest, generous, and a favorite with all who knew him. He leaves a widow, who was Miss Rita Croker, Tarago, and one baby daughter. Brother is Lionel, Sassafras, and sisters are Marjorie (Mrs. Hodge), Hazel (Mrs, R, Orford), Maud (Mrs, W, Hollands), Myrtle, Mildred and Elaine.
