Biography
Bouverie Colebrooke Alleyne was the son of Bouverie Alleyne and Charlotte Agnes Emma Colebrooke. He was born on the Island of Saint Vincent in the British West Indies on the 14th January, 1861.
His father Bouverie Alleyne, died later that year on the 25th October, 1861 so he never knew his father.
In 1871, Bouverie was living with his mother in New Windsor, Berkshire.[1]
He was in the Royal Naval Reserve and gained the rank of Lieutenant.
Like his father, he didn't have a long life, dying at the age of 40, on the 13th February, 1901 at Brighton, Sussex, England, U.K. (date of death mentioned in Probate). [3]
Bouverie Colebrooke Alleyne left a will. Probate was granted on the 21st March 1901. [4]
Since Bouverie Colebrooke Alleyne did not have any sons, this generation is the end of his branch of the Alleyne line.
