Biography
She was born in Birds Store, Brown County, Texas to Walton Pinkington "Pink" Allgood and Viola "Olie" Price Allgood. She married Burnett "Bernie" Newton on 23 Apr 1924 in Brown Co., TX. Soon after their marriage, the young couple moved to Jones Co., TX where the bride's grandfather, John Richard Price, had moved his family from Brown Co., TX a decade or so earlier.
Gladys is survived: by her husband, Bernie, her daughters; Dorothy Davis and Shirley Newton and two grandchildren among others.
Burial: Hawley Cemetery - Hawley, Jones County, Texas, USA
