Allgood-570 and Allgood-318 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate. Proper first name is Jane, not Sarah Jane. This fact is supported by 9 primary sources. Sarah Jane was the name of her daughter.
I have thoroughly checked Jane Allgood and there is not a single primary source to support the name of Sarah Jane Allgood. There is no Sarah Jane Allgood registered in Leicestershire between 1847 and 1851. I have nine primary sources to support the name of Jane. The only female Allgood who was registered with MMN of Platts in England within two years either side of her birth date is Jane Allgood, so there is no mistake. N.B. Birth registration was mandatory. I suggest you either correct the forename to Jane and we then merge the two profiles, or you could remove her as the child of John and Lucy and repurpose her as another Allgood who does not already have a profile. The latter would be better because every merge causes a redirect.
Allgood-319 and Allgood-570 appear to represent the same person because: Jane is Sarah's middle name. Same dates of birth, same locations, same husband.
Allgood-319 is a man - Langley Allgood and should definitely not be merged.
If you mean Jane Allgood-318, she was registered with the government as Jane Allgood and had no middle name, a fact I have a primary source for. She is also Jane on the 1851 England Census. The Overland Travel database has her as Sarah Jane but it was not her birth name and their page shows no primary source. https://history.churchofjesuschrist.org/overlandtravel/pioneers/33754/sarah-jane-allgood If you can provide a primary source that shows her using the name Sarah, then I will add it to the profile but all the sources I have for her are using the name Jane, which she was registered with, not long after her birth.
Please take care when proposing merges. You should use the compare facility to look at them side by side before proposing merges in future to avoid any mistakes.
