HARDINSBURG - Eva Lee Basham, 69, of Westview died Thursday, Dec. 10, 1998, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born in Breckinridge County, daughter of the late Irk and Lillie Clark Allgood, and was a member of Rhodes Memorial United Methodist Church in Westview. She was an adult caregiver and a housewife. She was preceded in death by a son, Willard Basham Jr.; and a daughter, Dorothy Mae Basham.
Survivors include her husband, Willard Basham; two sons, Claudie Basham of Irvington and David "Humpy" Basham of Balltown; a daughter, Betty Howard of Westview; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jesse Allgood of Locust Hill and Walter Allgood of SeRee; and three sisters, Ethel Wardrip of Midway, Sara Ellen Blair of Locust Hill and Catherine Fentress of Fordsville.
Services are at 1 p.m. Monday at Rhodes Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hudson. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.
