Martha Jane Allie was born 12 December 1887 in Wayne County, West Virginia to Charles T. Allie and Josephine Quillen.[1][2]
The Allie family was living in Ceredo, Wayne, West Virginia in 1900.[3] Charles was farming and the older kids were at school. The household included Charles, Josephine, Walter, Mattie, Oliver, Frederick, Jessie, Tony, and Claude.
Charles T. and his wife, Josie are living in Story, Story, Iowa in 1910.[4] The households included Jessie, Tony, Claude, Martha, Willard, Ida, and Roy, plus three roomers, two of whom were school teachers. Charles was farming, Jessie was working as a farm laborer, and Martha was a servant for a private family.
Martha Allie married William Watson 19 March 1912 in Webster County, Iowa.[2]
