Her first name is spelled several ways. I am in possession of her Bible which spells her name as Harrett. Her name is spelled Heiret on her tombstone.
Husband Allison Bearden disappeared in about 1904. My grandfather Rollen Bearden stated that his mother sent him to take water to his father. When Rollen got out to the field, the mule was hooked up to the plow as if his father had just taken a break. The family never heard from his father again.
Allison is found in the 1910 census in Dade County, Georgia using his first name James. This same James Bearden is found in the 1920 Dade County, Geoirgia census and his father Andrew A Bearden was living with him.
After being deserted by her husband, Harrett packed up her 7 children and headed west. They got off the train in Minden, Webster Parish, Louisiana, United States because daughter Lobelia was very ill. Lobelia died 24 Oct 1904.
