Biography

Second son of Giles and Alice Alington. An exact birth date has not been found but Ruth Norrington, in her biography of Lady Alice More, notes that Richard Alington was ten years old when his step-grandfather Thomas More was executed in 1535. [1]

Richard Alington was admitted to Lincoln's Inn 24 October 1546.[2]
