Volume 1, Page 408: Micah Allison, senior son of Dr. William and Mary (Allison) Elmer, was born May 13, 1781, in Goshen, and engaged in farming in that town, near Minisink, whence he removed to Wantage, Sussex county. New Jersey. He died December 31, 1849, in Unionville, and was buried at Ridgebury, New York. He married February 4, 1804. Elizabeth, daughter of Richard and Aim (Ketchum) Allison. Children: 1. William, died young. 2. Julia Ann, born April 13, 1806, died in Chester, New York. 3. Richard Allison, mentioned below. 4. Isaac, died young. 5. Henry De-Lancey, born February 18, 1812, died at Chester. 6. Nathaniel, January 3, 1816; was a Presbyterian clergyman, and died in Middletown, New York. 7. Teresa A., November 6, 1819; married Isaac W. Allison. and died in Chester.

1399. Micah Allison Elmer [1327] (Mary Allison, Gen. William, Joseph). He was born May 13, 1781, at Goshen, N. Y., and died at Unionville, Orange county, N. Y., Dec. 31, 1849. He married his second cousin, Elizabeth, daughter of Richard Allison, Feb. 4, 1804, who died in Unionville, and both are buried in Ridgebury, N. Y. He was named for his uncle, Micah Allison, who was killed, at the age of eighteen, in battle at the capture of Fort Montgomery. They were Presbyterians. Some of this family are buried in Slate Hill cemetery, Wawayanda, Orange county, N. Y.
1401. Julia Ann Elmer b. April 1-3, 1806; d. Nov. 27, 1871, aged 65 years, 7 months, 14 days. She is buried in the Allison family plot in Chester, N. Y. Rev. C. E. Allison says of her,—"The memory of her unselfish life is sweet as the fragrance of flowers." She was unmarried.
