The 6 Jun 1863 edition of the New Brunswick Courier reported: "d. Sackville (West. Co.) Friday 29th ult., of pneumonia, Joseph F. Allison, Esq., age 57."[2]
He is buried in the Sackville Rural Cemetery, Sackville.
