U.S. Census, 1910 shows her as Elizabeth. This is the first time I have ever seen Grandma as Elizabeth; I've never heard or seen anything but Bessie. Of course, I don't have her birth certificate. LATER: I've now found her birth record and it calls Elizabeth into question. I never knew her by any name other than Bessie, and the birth record gives her name as Bessie Irene.
