Alex Allison was a Kentuckian.

Alex Allison is a part of US Black heritage.

Alex "Aleck" Allison was born about May 1850 in Kentucky.^[1][2] He was the son of John T Allison (abt.1831-), a plantation owner, and a woman he enslaved whose identity is unknown.^[3]

He married Alice (Bowling) Allison (abt.1850-1921) (his step-sister^[3]) on 30 December 1875 in Logan County, Kentucky.^[4]
