Virginia Carolyn "Jennie" Allison, daughter of Richard T. Allison and Elizabeth (Turner) Allison, was born on 8 Aug. 1855 in White County, Georgia.[1][2] She appeared on the census of 9 Aug. 1860 in the home of her parents at White, Georgia.[3] She appeared on the census of 19 June 1870 in the home of her mother and step-father at Subdivision 135, White, Georgia.[4]
She married Robert Harlston Barrett, son of Thomas Riley Barrett and Elizabeth (Gilstrap) Barrett, about 1876.[2][5]
She and Robert appeared on the census of 2 June 1900 at Mossy Creek, White, Georgia.[6]
Virginia died on 12 March 1939 at Cleveland, White County, Georgia and was buried at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Cleveland, White County, Georgia.[1][5] Her memorial has a photo of her headstone and links to those of family members.[2]
