Biography
He was the son of Unknown Allison.
Robert and his brother Gordon arrived in Fairfax Court House, Virginia in about 1820 and purchased together a tavern there in 1828 from their brother William of Richmon, Virginia.[1]
Robert was living alone in 1850 and was listed as a merchant in the 1850 Census.
He appears never to have married. He passed away in 1864.[2]
