The Albion College (Michigan) 1900 yearbook lists under 1869 graduates,

Lucretia Allman (Thornton, Dr. F. Thornton, Sturgis.

The 1910 census states that only 4 of her 5 children were living in 1910.

Daughter of Wm (b abt 1818) and Louisa (b abt 1821) Allman (1850 census)

Since she appears in the 1850 census, it is unlikely that she was born in December of 1850. More likely, December of 1849.

The name "Lucretia Allman (Thornton)" appears in a snippet from "Pegasus," by Centenary College Literary Society, Mile High Poetry Society - 1960. I do not have access to the full text.
