Biography
Martin William Allmandinger was born 3 Nov 1913 in Willshire, Van Wert, Ohio. He was the 10th child born to William Carl Allmandinger and Barbara Sophia Hoehamer.[1]
Martin's father died 20 July 1919 when Martin was 5 years old. In the 1920 US Census, Martin is living on the family farm in Willshire, Van Wert, Ohio, with his mother and siblings:Richard, Walter, Maria, Caroline, Bertha, Hugo, Frederick, Lillie, Minna, Aaron and Anna.[2]
Martin's mother died 13 Feb 1929 when he was 15 years old. His sister, Bertha, died 4 Nov 1930. In the 1930 US Census, Martin was living with his older brother Richard and his family; wife Frieda and son, Louis plus his other brother Frederick. [3]
On 3 November 1939, Martin married Beatrice C. Eschbach, daughter of Frank Eschbach and Clara Fieker.[4]

In the 1940 US Census, Martin and Beatrice are living in Willshire, Van Wert, Ohio and Martin is a mechanic.[5]
Martin and Beatrice had three daughters. Josephine Ann Allmandinger born 26 July 1941, Mary Helen Allmandinger born 31 May 1944, and Nancy Elaine Allmandinger born 3 Dec 1947.
Martin died 14 December 1998 in Ohio City, Van Wert, Ohio. [6] He was buried in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Schumm, Van Wert, Ohio.[7]
