Biography
Alfred A. Allred, son of Nathan Allred and Lucy (Brown) Allred, was born on 18 Oct. 1834 in Brooksville, Blount County, Alabama.[1] He appeared on the census of 6 Nov. 1850 in the home of his parents at Subdivision 17, Blount, Alabama.[2]
He married Margaret Elizabeth Latham, daughter of John Latham and Mary "Polly" (Gunter) Latham, on July 31, 1853 in Blount County, Alabama.[1]
Alfred died on 24 Nov. 1914 at Odem, San Patricio County, Texas and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Odem, San Patricio County, Texas. His memorial has photos, biographical material and links to those of family members.[1]
