Barton Brown Allred was born on December 30, 1827 in Farmington, Bedford County, Tennessee, United States. He is the son of William Allred and Sarah Ann Warren.
In 1840, the census records indicate that he lived in Pike County, Illinois. In 1846, he lived in Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois.[1][2]
He immigrated with other Mormons to the Utah Territory in 1852 with the John S. Higbee/James W. Bay Company.[3]
Barton died March 1865 in Nevada.
Research Notes
Alternatively, he may have died in 1854 in Bedford County, Tennessee, as shown on a merged profile without references. This is unlikely as he immigrated to the Utah Territory in 1852.
