John Bartlett Allstot, born c. 1759 was the grandson of John NIcholas (1727) and Catherine Alstott. He had two brothers, John Altstatt (Alstott) 1755, and Daniel Alstott, (c.1765) and two sisters, Susanna Alstadt (1757) and Mary Alstadt (c.1772). John Bartlett's siblings were: Catherine Allstot Southers (c.1784), Willliam Alstot (c. 1792), Elizabeth Allstot Hawkins (1793), Jacob Allstot (c.1798) and George Washington Allstot (1801).

The children of John Bartlett Allstot were: (Unknown son) Allstot (c.1814), Elizabeth Allstot (inferred) (c.1816), Josephine Allstot (inferred) (c.1818), Parker Allstott (1820), Anthony Allstott (1821), William Allstott (1822), Reason (Cox, illigitimate*) Allstot (1824), Lucinda Allstot (1828), John Allstott (1830), Mary Allstott (1834), and Nicholas Allstott (1835). All children, except Reason, were born by an unknown wife. Reason's mother was Delilah Cox.* John Bartlett Allstot later married Mary Jakeman in 1840 and after her death remarried Nancy Covert Alstott, widow of William Alstott.
