Biography
While working a regional truck driver out of Jamestown, NY for most of his life, Bill had to supplement his retirement as the trucking firm had financial hardship and his pension went unfunded. He then started a small business buying pay telephones in the Sacramento, CA area to supplement this shortfall and live near his aging mother retired in Oroville, CA.
As a life long cigarette smoker he was eventually overtaken with Atherosclerosis (buildup of fatty substances in the arteries). To prolong life, he had to have a leg amputated and decided to dismiss other amputations to return to his Jupiter, FL home under hospice care. Bill was loved and missed as tears were shed by brother, children, step children, nieces & nephews at his grave side.
