Antonino was born before 1759 ^[1], a son of Vincenzo Almerico and Francesca Guzzardo ^[2]. In 1777 he married Margarita Roccaforte ^[3] in what was a first marriage for each of them.

Antonino's marriage record refers to him as 'Maestro' indicating that he had a skilled craft.
