Biography

James Almond was born April 30th, 1818 to parents Matthew and Rebecca Almond.[1]

On March 4th, 1840, James married Emily Weer in Hendricks County, Indiana.[2] They raised many children together - 6 boys and 4 girls. In birth order: Enos A., David H., Granville, Hiram, Margaret Jane, Rebecca, John R., Harlan Andrew, Julia Emaline and Alva.[3] [4] [5]

James passed away August 23rd, 1872.[6]

Note - correspondence from my grandfather Almond has a different death date than that to be found on the Find a Grave Network page for James. Would be good to find a corroborating record for one or the other.
