Richard was born about 1858, the son of Hugh Almond (of Liverpool England)
Richard Almond married Lucy Frances (Buck) in 1875 in Victoria[1] Lucy passed away in 1886
He married Eleanor Mary (Buck) in 1887 in Victoria[2] Eleanor was his first wife's sister. Eleanor passed away in 1903.
Richard then married Susanna Priscilla Dobie on 12 January 1904 in East Malvern, Victoria[3] (Marriage details as recorded in divorce report)
They were divorced in November 1909. [4]
He married Mary Crighton Dickson in 1910 in Victoria[5]
Richard passed away in 1942[6]
Death notice: The Argus (Melbourne, Vic. : 1848 - 1957) Thu 11 Jun 1942 - ALMOND. - On June 9, Richard, loving father of Vida (Mrs. Hook), Fred, Dick, Alice (Mrs. Gilhome), Polly (deceased), Norman (deceased), Lionel, Elsie (Mrs. Johnstone), Willie (deceased), and Jean, aged 85 years. (Privately interred.)[7]
