Laura was born about 1871. She is the daughter of Fredrick Almy and Ann Margaret Blanchard. [1]

There were two daughters that were close in age. One Lura and the other was Laura. It was hard to keep them apart as census people would write Laura instead of Lura. Finding the grave of Laura helped a lot.
